Rippa sells across a continent from one warehouse. It works because the freight network is well worn and because the same steps happen for every machine, whether it is going to Southport or to a station on the Barkly.
Stock and pre-delivery
Machines arrive at Currumbin Waters in containers, are unpacked, assembled where needed and pre-delivery checked: fluids, grease, track tension, hydraulic function, electrics, safety devices and a run under load. Attachments are fitted and tested. The hour meter shows the test time and nothing more.
Quote with freight
Every quote is one figure: the machine, any attachments, and freight to the address or depot the buyer nominates. Freight depends on the machine's weight and size, the route and whether the destination is a depot or a door.
The routes
- South-east Queensland and the Northern Rivers: tilt tray, same or next day, or collection from the warehouse.
- Rest of Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria, SA: general freight and tilt tray, one to five days.
- Tasmania: road to Melbourne, sea across Bass Strait, five to ten days.
- Western Australia: road across the Nullarbor to Perth, then Rippa Perth or regional freight; or direct from Rippa Perth's stock at Bellevue.
- Northern Territory: road and rail to Darwin, road to Alice Springs, barge to remote communities, one to two weeks.
Depot or door
Depot collection suits buyers with a rated trailer and is usually cheapest for machines under 3 tonnes. Door delivery by tilt tray is standard for anything bigger, for rural properties and for buyers without a trailer.
On arrival
Inspect before signing, photograph the serial plates, confirm the attachments, and take the walk-through if the delivery is by Rippa Australia's own tilt tray. Machines arrive with enough fuel to unload and test.
Support afterwards
Engine parts for Kubota, Briggs & Stratton and Yanmar are held by engine dealers in every regional centre; Rippa-specific parts ship from the Gold Coast or Rippa Perth. Remote buyers order a spares kit with the machine.
