Brush cutters
A skid steer brush cutter is a heavy-duty rotary slasher that cuts grass, scrub and saplings up to a few centimetres thick. It is the fastest way to cut firebreaks and low-fuel zones, clear a block before earthworks or keep acreage under control.
How to choose
- RS03/RS04, RS06/RS07 and RS10/RS20 sizes
- High-flow attachment; the RS10 and RS20 run the larger cutters at full speed
- Blade type for grass versus woody scrub
Tip
Cut breaks in spring while grass is green; cured grass in November is harder on the cutter and a fire risk.
